Time Out Says
But although it’s busy and fun enough on a weekend, weekdays seem to be on the quieter side, and we can’t help but think that what was once a go-to drinks spot has somewhat lost its shine.
Outside there’s a fairly generic pub garden, sharing an al fresco terrace area with other venues in the hotel’s complex, meaning there’s no real character to it.
Inside, the bar is on the shabby side with faded décor, and is, on our visit, empty.
The drinks menu is decent enough, with a varied range of hops, but on the pricey side, especially for the setting. Grape sits around Dhs50-80, while craft hops will set you back about Dhs60.
There are a variety of deals throughout the week, including a Tuesday ladies’ night (the cringyily named “Dollified”) where you’ll get four drinks and 50 percent off food and cut-price drinks on a Monday.
If you’re en route to one of Le Méridien’s restaurants, then you’d do worse than stop in for a pint, but Warehouse isn’t a bar we’d recommend going out of your way for.
