The Spa at The Address

We realign our chakras with a restorative package at The Spa

Spending your days sitting at a desk does little for your posture, or state of mind. Luckily, we found just the treatment to stretch us back into shape.

The Restore at The Address package comprises two-hours of heavenly massage and hot stone therapy which focuses on unblocking those pesky chakras.

We arrived an hour early to take a peek at the facilities. A friend had told us how fabulous they were and we weren’t disappointed. Think views across the Burj Dubai area - so relaxing when you’re floating way above it - loungers as welcoming as our bed at home, fluffy robes to snuggle into and posh magazines to leaf through. What more does one need, sweetie?

After a petal foot soak and chat with our therapist, to highlight any areas we would like working on, and those we wouldn’t, the treatment began. First, comes the full body scrub, then with the placing of hot stones on the vital energy points on our spine, hands, and feet. If you haven’t had a hot stone massage before, fear not, they’re not that hot, just pleasantly warm and soothing.

Next, is the full body massage with essential oils to loosen off the tension that the stones have already begun to work on and finally, the hot stones are again employed to great effect to help release tension around the head and ears before an exquisite acupressure head massage.

We practically floated out of our treatment room, before spending some quality time in the relaxation area reflecting on how much better we felt, while planning a return trip.

For a real escape from the city, while still hovering slap, bang in the middle of it, The Address is the place to go.
