Thai Privilege Spa in Dubai

Thai Privilege Spa’s fruit facials use everything from papaya to strawberry

The skin-glow orange facial

Thai Privilege Spa’s fruit facials use everything from papaya to strawberry, although our therapist prescribed the orange glow – our A/C-damaged skin needed some vitamin C. The hour-long process involved a fantastic steam and extraction (we’d be happy to have this by itself once a month), then an aloe cleanse and a scrub with neem powder to sort out our oily bits (all organic products from India). Next up was our favourite part: half an orange was rubbed over our face, with a galvanic current blasted through it – this smelled lovely and felt refreshing.

Our skin was then blasted with ice (cue goosebumps!) and massaged, before being smothered in a zingy papaya mask ahead of another massage. We left with very soft skin and, while it didn’t look instantly brighter, our therapist assured us that a few of these facials can help to solve even the worst pigmentation problems.
