Reflexology massage in Dubai

We try a holistic therapy at the Feet First spa

Although it’s hidden in the depths of Dubai Mall (LG floor past Waitrose), Feet First is an essential salon for those who are after a bit of reflexology. Although it’s only small and by no means five star, the separate treatment rooms are private and relaxing. After soaking and washing your feet, the therapist will first give a firm neck and shoulder massage aimed at making you relax. Using warm oils each foot is then worked on in turn, as reflexology is based around the principle that the sole of your foot provides a direct link to every other part of your body which can ease energy blockages where you might be experiencing physical problems. The therapist uses a combination of techniques which at time can be slightly intense but you’ll feel the rest of your body start to destress. Although you remain fully clothed, you’ll leave after the hour session, retuned and strangely calm. Reflexology’s perfect if you want the effects of a full body massage without having to go through the rigmarole of oils, lotions and showers.
