The lowdown on new al-fresco yoga classes, plus the latest spas launch here

It seems yoga lovers and devotees are on a roll in 2013, as yet another new class springs up. Dubai instructor Christina Wiffin will be making the most of the great weather by holding power yoga classes in Downtown’s Burj Park, with prices from Dhs45 per session. Better still, she will host a free taster session on Wednesday February 27 from 6.45am. Drop her a line to register, at christinawiffin@hotmail.com.

Elsewhere, UAE skincare brand Herbline Essentials has recently launched its own online store, so you can now stock up without leaving the sofa.

If you think you need more than a few dabs of cream to solve your beauty woes, you may be cheered to hear that the city is soon to be home to a new medical spa. International brand Embassy of Beauty is poised to open its doors in our city, offering a combination of aesthetic treatments and spa services.

Also keep your eyes and ears peeled for the launch of De La Mer Day Spa, a ladies-only spot that will open soon in Jumeirah: the venue aims to go beyond pampering and offer a focus on overall wellness. That’s all for now, beauty fans: until next week, namaste.
