How to improve your mind and body at a workshop in Dubai

If you’ve ever wanted to further your knowledge or get a better understanding of a specific area of wellbeing, the next few months are an excellent place to start, with plenty of workshops and courses set to take place. These will include a live feng shui demonstration on Tuesday March 26 at Illuminations Well-Being Centre in JLT, an ABC of neuro-linguistic programming workshop on Sunday April 21 at the Transformations Institute and a Thai yoga massage workshop on Friday April 26 at Exhale Dubai’s JBR studio.

A little further down the road at the beginning of May, there will be a yoga retreat in Hatta in support of The Amantani Charity and Latin American Foundation for the Future, which aims to provide Dubaians with the opportunity to ‘restore balance, rejuvenate the body and mind and help those less fortunate’.

In other news, one of the city’s best-loved spas will soon launch a new treatment menu. This April, Amara Spa at the Park Hyatt Dubai will begin offering treatments using Natura Bissé, Green Bar and Hommage, a range of products exclusively for men. New treatments will include a rhassoul clay ceremony using Bedouin herbs, an anti-cellulite therapy (hurrah!) and a full-body Hommage immersion treatment. Devotees of
the spa need not worry, however, as we are assured it will continue to offer packages using Anne Semonin and Aromatherapy Associates products. Until next week, happy learning, and namaste.
