New bootcamps, dance classes, a healthy new drink and more

Back in the UAE, a new beauty drink called Ocóo will soon be available at Zuma and Galeries Lafayette, and at The fruity drink claims to have anti-ageing properties, and can apparently improve skin, hair and collagen production.

For fans of dance fitness classes, there will soon be another option available in the city. At the end of May, Crowne Plaza Dubai will launch jazzercise classes, which combine jazz dance, resistance training, Pilates, yoga and kickboxing for an intense cardio workout. If you fancy a workout of a less sweaty variety, Dubai’s SO Famous in Media City is set to launch a beauty and fashion bootcamp, starting from Monday April 15 and running for a month. Twice a week, on Mondays and Wednesdays, those who sign up will spend two hours being educated by professionals on hair-styling, make-up, fashion styling, posing for photoshoots and either catwalk or basic social etiquette with an expert trainer.
