Bieber-inspired nail art, new yoga and an energy drink

This week we sup a new drink, scout out Bieber-inspired nail art and discover a great new yoga class.

Dubai’s social scene is on a health kick at the moment, at least when it comes to mixers. Hot on the heels of ‘beauty drink’ Ocoo, which launched earlier this month, all-natural fruity beverage and ‘social natural relaxation drink’ Piper (pictured) is now available all over town, including at party hotspots Okku, Siddartha Lounge and Blue Marlin.

For those heading to the Justin Bieber concerts in Dubai next week (we’ll try not to judge), The Nail Spa has unveiled a range of Bieber-inspired nail art specially for the occasion.

Meanwhile, Jumeirah Zabeel Saray is soon to launch a Talise Lifestyle membership, which includes privileges at the spa, discounts throughout the hotel and unlimited use of spa and gym facilities, beach and pools. Membership starts from Dhs15,000 per person for six months (discounts for couples and families).

Finally, a tip for you: for a good, deep stretching session, but nothing too cardio-heavy, we recommend the 90-minute hatha flow yoga class led by Cheryl Parsons at Zen Yoga in Emirates Hills. The atmosphere among attendees is relaxed and friendly, while the instruction is nurturing and helpful. Book well in advance, as classes are extremely popular. That’s all for now – until next week, namaste.
