Celebrity stylist in Dubai, healing workshops and more

This week a local health retreat provider, a celeb hairstylist visits Jet Set, plus one-off healing workshops

Tuned into the health retreat hype sweeping the globe, Dubai-based holistic lifestyle consultants Liv2Lead has just launched wellbeing travel company Yoga Retreats (050 181 9527). Run by hatha yoga instructor and lifestyle coach Livia Anzaldo, the company specialises in local getaways with a health focus, combining elements of mind, body and self-discovery with new cultures. The first retreat kicks off in Sri Lanka next month and will be followed by trips to Vietnam, Jordan and Nepal later in the year.

Meanwhile, LA-based celebrity hairstylist and balayage colour expert Negin Zand (pictured right) will be in town from Sunday June 2 to 9 and will be available for appointments. Operating out of Jumeirah salon JetSet (04 386 8604), Zand is renowned for her speed and meticulous eye when it comes to the freehand foiling and highlighting technique and her client list includes Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon and Jessica Chastain. To make an appointment call 050 298 8787.

Skincare fiends have something to sing about this week: popular new US range Immupure (050 450 9803) is now available in Dubai for the first time. The brand uses colostrum (mammary fluid rich in antibodies) from cows to create high levels of collagen and therefore a credible alternative to surgical treatments and Botox fillers.

Lastly, renowned US ‘regression therapist and Inner Child therapy pioneer’ Trisha Caetano is hosting a number of healing and self-help workshops in Dubai from Thursday June 6 at Illuminations (04 448 7043). Until next week, namaste.
