Alofty new yoga space, home fitness invention and feng shui in Dubai

This week: a lofty new yoga space, a new at-home fitness device and workshops in feng shui and systematic constellation.

Yogis in Business Bay won’t have to go far for their daily yoga fix from September. Dubai fitness and wellness specalists Urban Yoga (www.urbanyoga.ae) is set to open a stylish new space next month in the up and coming area. Canadian co-owner Kimberley Stokes says the studio will have an NYC loft-style feel with brick and concrete finishings, two practice rooms, high ceilings and a light and airy feel. The studio plans to focus its classes on isolating movements that are good for your body and loosening, strengthening and opening up the joints.

Meanwhile, those looking to perk up their posteriors can now do so at home with new fitness machine and hilariously named Buntastic. The device enables you to train your backside, back, thighs, legs, abs and chest and has over 50 exercise options. A great solution for anyone who gets easily bored of the gym and likes to workout in the comfort of their home, in front of the TV. Buns of steel can be yours for Dhs512 from Citruss TV (www.citrusstv.com).

Lastly, Dubai Herbal & Treatment Centre (04 335 1200) is holding two unique workshops late next month. The first will cover the secret of feng shui, while another focuses on systematic constellation. Until next week, namaste.
