Tried & tested: The Cure

We got braided up at The Cure in Media City and report back

The promise
Perfect party hair while you get your nails done.

Step-by-step
The smiling receptionist takes my name and gets me some water as I choose the colour for my nails.

I go for a pale blue shade and am taken through into the bright and airy salon. As the nail therapist starts on my manicure, I get to scroll through some pictures of different braid options and with a little help from the hairstylist, settle on a slightly messy, multiple-braid option. I relax as my nails are filed and painted, almost forgetting there is someone working on my hair.

The results
The timing is perfect, just as my nails are getting the top coat; I’m told my hair is finished! I’m happy with the results, my hair is party ready and my nails are done, meaning I can go straight home and get ready for my evening.

My hair stayed up all day and night, and even survived an evening out at Sandance.
