Support Breast Cancer Awareness Month by buying these goodies

If the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge taught us anything, it’s that awareness comes in many forms.

This month, the ice bucket makes way for the pink ribbon, with October officially marking Breast Cancer Awareness Month worldwide. More than 500,000 lives were lost to the disease in 2012 and, according to a study by the Arab Genomic Centre, breast cancer in the UAE occurs ten years earlier than the world average. Many companies claim to support the cause, but only a handful are willing to donate a portion of the proceeds to charities for research. Here, we reveal our pick of the feel-good buys helping to raise awareness about the importance of early detection.
