The latest news from the spa and pampering scene in Dubai

This week we bring you three new openings for ladies and gents that offer a plethora of preening services.

A series of new openings have given new life to Dubai Marina Mall, and now spa The White Room (www.whiteroomdubai.com) is getting in on the action. The ladies-only haven of beauty, grooming and well-being already has operations in JLT and Motor City, but now offers services including manis and pedis (starting at Dhs65), express facials (from Dhs90) and hair services (from Dhs65) to both Marina residents and visitors.

Also new on the women’s beauty scene is the second branch of The Dollhouse Salon (www.thedollhousedubai.com), now open in Aswaaq Mall, in Al Barsha South (just behind Al Khail Road). Ladies can book in for a whole range of preening services, from haircuts and colours to gel nails, face treatments, fake tanning, waxing and massages. What’s more, clients are given iPads to surf the net during their treatments, can use complimentary phone chargers and sip Turkish coffee.

Menfolk also get a look-in this week, following the opening of a brand-new grooming hotspot solely for the boys.

Jazz Lounge Spa (www.jazzloungespa.com) brought to you by the team behind Tips & Toes, opens on March 1 on Umm Suqeim Road in Al Barsha, offering facials, nail care, massages, Moroccan and Turkish baths and hair services. Top-notch brands including Pevonia and Morjana are used, and the lounge has been decked out with modern furnishings alongside retro images of old school jazz icons.

Until next week, namaste.
