Motion Fitness Ladies Center is a refreshing approach to a fitness and wellness centre in Dubai that provides a friendly and family-oriented environment for women only.
Not only does owner Nibal know the names of every client that walks through the door, new and old (like Ann who we met in the living room area who proudly told us she was their first ever client). But it seems even the ladies attending, reception staff, instructors and cleaners form a close community, presumably helped by the ladies’ dinners they get together for every now and again.
The two-storey building is cosy in size for a place to work out but feels light and airy thanks to its neutral décor and use of outdoor light.
In the large studio downstairs where the Step on BOSU class took place with Antonia, daylight beams in through the partial glass roof while she works on our general cardio and core with ankle weights, so you don’t have to feel trapped indoors while taking an exercise class.
