New health and spa products and promotions in Dubai

We kick off with a big health announcement this week, with news that Dubai’s Zulekha Hospital has embarked on a new cervical cancer screening and prevention campaign in the Emirates. Partnering up with Dubai Ladies Club and finance company Dubai First, the ‘Smear, Don’t Fear’ initiative aims to remind young women of the importance of regular smear tests for HPV, and both the Dubai and Sharjah branches of the medical centre will be offering free consultations and pap smears from now until Monday August 31. In the beauty arena, Sephora (www.sephora-me.com) has launched Supercleanse (pictured) – the world’s first mud-to-foam cleanser for problem skin. The mattifying daily wash is ideal for those with oil-prone skin, and retails for Dhs170 in the beauty firm’s Dubai stores. Meanwhile, the city’s salons are beginning to announce their Ramadan packages. Sisters Beauty Lounge (www.sistersbeautylounge.com) is offering a range of cleansing and purifying treatments this June, from fruit enzyme facials to eyebrow tinting and body waxing, with packages starting from Dhs200.
