Dubai wellness news

A new beauty booking site in Dubai, hair styling tools and a peek at Eid deals

So thoroughly pampered you can’t even bear the idea of calling up different salons to book your various grooming sessions? Help is finally at hand (PHEW!) in the form of new online tool Vaniday (www.vaniday.ae), offering a one-stop online platform for both men and women to book all the appointments they need, across the UAE. May you never ruin a manicure by picking up the phone again.

For those who prefer to take care of things at home, new tools are available in the city. Label.m has launched its electrical styling range in Dubai, featuring curling tongs, straightening irons and professional-standard hairdryers (so chuck your wheezing supermarket job in the bin!). We love the Advanced Pro Curling Wand (pictured), priced at Dhs395, which delivers great loose curls without tearing out any strands along the way. Get hold of the new products at Toni & Guy DIFC and Toni & Guy Grand Hyatt (04 324 4900). Further home haircare can be found in Lush (www.lush.ae), which has just launched a new range of shampoo bars, perfect if you’re travelling only with hand luggage, and priced from Dhs68.

Finally, it may only be the start of Ramadan, but scores of Eid deals are popping up all over the city. DIFC’s ladies-only Spa Cordon (04 421 3424) has caught our eye, offering an oriental bath, youthful renewal epicuren facial and an express manicure for just Dhs740, available from July 17 to August 17.

That’s all for this week, until next time, Ramadan Kareem.
