Body and Mind insider

This week we check out the latest products to launch in Dubai, and look forward to online shopping

Natural oils have been all the rage for the past couple of years. From coconut to argan, men and women around the world have been rifling through their kitchen cupboards and stocking the bathroom shelves with silky substances that promise to tackle everything from damaged hair to stretch marks to dry skin.

The latest wonder oil on the scene is the 100 percent natural Inca Inchi by Paese Cosmetics (www.paesecosmetics.com), targeting dry, mature and damaged skin with an alphabetically impressive string of vitamins A, B, C, D, E and F. Each bottle is priced at Dhs99 and available from Paese outlets across the city, including in The Dubai Mall.

New products continue to march on Dubai this week. Just in time to make it into your summer holiday suitcase, CoLab dry shampoo launches in the city, promising increased volume, better texture and easier styling for those days when you’re too grotty to be bothered with washing your greasy hair. On sale now in – of all places – Virgin Megastore, the shampoo is available as a 50ml travel size (Dhs29)and 200ml sheer, invisible sheer (Dhs39) and extreme volume dry (Dhs49).

Finally this week, we’re excited at the prospect of ordering our lotions and potions online when Wojooh’s new shopping portal goes live in October.

We’ll never again be chased by perfume tester-wielding sales assistants, and, for that, we’re very grateful indeed.
