1 Powder your roots
Dry shampoo is so 2015. Dust off greasy roots with baby powder, instead, which will help mop up excess oil while blending into your strands.
2 Condition the Ends
Applying conditioner all over will weigh down your hair. Only apply a dirham coin’s worth of it to the ends and rinse.
3 Don’t Wash Every Day
The more you strip your scalp of its natural oil, the more forcefully it will try to replace it. Try washing every three to four days, instead.
4 Ditch the Straightener
Noticed how your hair looks extra greasy after you straighten it? The closer your hair gets to your roots, the oilier it gets. Embrace your curls at least once a week.
5 Hit the Pantry
Rinse oily roots with diluted tea. The tannic acid in black tea can banish the oil before your next wash.
