If you think that pampering should be more than just massages and spa treatments, perhaps this upcoming wellness resort on Palm Jumeirah will be your new favourite spot for healthy living in Dubai.
R Hotels' next big project will be focused on providing guests with a holistic approach to wellbeing.
If you’re unfamiliar with the term, holistic medicine and treatments take into account the body, mind and spirit of a person as a whole, rather than just the symptoms of a disease or ailment.
The new four-star hotel will of course still offer spa and beauty treatments to its guests, but the real selling points are the wellbeing and lifestyle packages they’ll make available.
There will be certified nutritionists and wellness coaches to guide guests, young and old, through the programmes including weight loss, poor diet and suitable exercise regimes.
Fitness classes will include yoga, tai chi, pilates and aerobics.
As for the food and beverage on offer, the hotel will feature a healthy concept restaurant serving meals and drinks made from fresh and organic ingredients, as well as live cooking stations and a fresh juice bar.
The dining outlet features a range of healthy options from low calorie and gluten-free foods to vegan and vegetarian meals.
The general look and feel of the hotel will be organic and zen overall, thanks to the use of design elements like wood and earth colours for the interior and furnishings.
The pool area and private beach will have sun loungers as wells as cabanas for families and groups to enjoy.
There will also be a dedicated kids’ swimming pool, playground, gym and tennis court, and separate spa for men and women with hammam, sauna and steam bath.
Other top-class services include a gym and tennis court, an area devoted to fitness classes along with a separate spa for men and women with hamman, sauna, steam bath and treatment rooms.
Located on the East Crescent of Palm Jumeirah, the resort will have easy access to an array of activities and attractions in some of Dubai’s most upmarket locations.
