30-day yoga challenge coming to Dubai

Voyoga challenge offers unlimited yoga and weight loss guidance

Bodyandmind

By now the majority of the city is in the midst of the Dubai Fitness Challenge, and now is the time to capitalise on the momentum generated by this brilliant city-wide initiative aimed at getting residents across the emirate moving.

If you’re ready to keep moving once the huge event reaches its conclusion this coming weekend (which will feature a special appearance by heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua) at Dubai Festival City, take note of this new offer coming up from community yoga studio Voyoga, which has launched its own challenge, helping residents looking to lose weight in time for the festive season.

The Voyoga 30-Day Weight Watch is designed to help you lose weight, drop a dress size or fit into those jeans better in time for Christmas, and kicks off on Wednesday November 15.

At the start of the challenge your weight and measurements will be taken, and you’ll be handed a chart to keep track of your progress along the way. Throughout the month-long challenge, you’ll take part in 25 yoga classes (either regular yoga or Bikram) at the state-of-the-art studio in Barsha Heights with panoramic views of the city from the 31st floor.

Participants will also be given a diet plan to follow, plus unlimited access to all Voyoga classes for a month. They’re promising you’ll see the difference, and if you make the most of the opportunity to head to a yoga session every day for 30 days, your registration fee of Dhs1,200 means your 30 yoga classes come in at a cost of just Dhs40 per class, and that’s a hard rate to beat.

Winners will receive a generous gift including spa and pamper treatments, free classes, yoga wear, beauty products and more – so there are plenty of reasons to give it a shot.

To register, head to www.voyoga.ae or call 04 553 8630.

Dhs1,200. Wed Nov 15 – Fri Dec 15. i-Rise Tower, Barsha Heights, www.voyoga.ae (04 553 8630).
