Prove your fitness and win Dhs15,000 in prizes

Fitness In DXB Challenge searching for region’s fittest on December 9

The search is on to find the region’s fittest man and woman, and some huge prizes are up for grabs worth more than Dhs15,000.

On Saturday December 9, the Fitness In DXB community fitness group will be hosting a huge challenge as part of The Dubai Muscle Show. It’s all about bringing together fitness enthusiasts as well as gym buffs and athletes, according to the organiser, who says the event is a “battle of the fittest, testing endurance and stamina”.

That means participants can expect to be judged on pretty much every element of fitness – so sharpen up on your speed, strength, stamina, power and agility, because they’ll all be tested to the max.

So winners will get the prestigious title of Fitness In DXB’s fittest man and woman, but there will also be some massive prizes available to the top placed athletes, including an all-inclusive trip to Thailand, which the organisers describe as being “ideal for empowering your body and mind after the gruelling competition”.

Sounds like it’s worth hitting the gym for, to us. There’s also going to be a special “money-can’t-buy” prize that’s being kept secret until the big day itself. Consider us intrigued.

The event will take place on Saturday December 9, but if you’re interested in taking part then you’ll need to register by Monday December 4. Head over to www.fitnessindxb.com/challenge to book your place at this one off event.
