Calling all yoga enthusiasts from ages one to 100. XYoga Dubai 2018 is making a return, this time to the sun-soaked sands of Kite Beach.

Taking place over the weekend from Friday March 16 to Saturday 17, XYoga is offering more than 60 complimentary classes and workshops taught by six international and more than 35 local yogis, in 25 various yoga styles.

Organised by XDubai and presented by Dubai Holding, rock stars of the yoga world from all corners of the globe are mustering up the festival’s most holistic programme to date.

With classes focusing on Laughter Yoga, the extremely appealing Chocolate Yoga, Posetivity Kids Yoga aimed at children aged two to 12, and a Mom and Me class to introduce babies to the wonders of yoga, the variation of exclusive classes for all to take part in is vast. All of which are taking place in a natural, oasis-themed Reebok studio.

Runway model-turned-yogi, Yogi Cameron will co-lead the festival’s huge opening session for 1,000 people, along with 99-year-old legend Tao Porchon-Lynch, crowned the oldest yoga teacher in the world in the Guinness Book of Records.

Porchon-Lynch will also be leading two additional sessions, Eternal Energy and A Talk With Tao, in which she will reflect upon her yoga journey.

Teresa Kay Aba-Kennedy, Harvard Business School-trained strategist, award-winning author and executive trainer, will lead sessions that include Breath and Burn, as well as Blissful Vibration, with Chocolate Yoga instructor, Sjha’ra Taylor to deliver her signature chocolate yoga session. We know what we’re signing up to anyway.

Mohammed Javad, General Manager of XDubai, said, “Since the very first XYoga, we have seen an overwhelming growth of yoga within Dubai and the UAE as more and more people see the benefits of practising yoga. For our second edition of XYoga Dubai, we wanted to channel the spirit of the local community to design an event that appeals to everyone, whether you’re one or 100 years old.”

The event is free for all to participate in. So get those yoga mats out, it’s time to get your stretch on.
Free. Fri Mar 16 to Sat 17, 8am-9am. Kite Beach, Umm Suqeim, near Jumeirah Beach Hotel,
