24-hour beachside retreat launched on the Palm

De-stress at The Retreat Palm Dubai MGallery

Body & mind

Stressed out? Fancy reconnecting with yourself? Well you’re in for a unique 24 hours.

The Retreat Palm Dubai MGallery has launched a one-day retreat for busy Dubai residents to disconnect from their hectic lifestyles and find some inner peace.

The holistic retreat takes the form of a series of experiences expertly created by the hotel’s DHA-approved doctors and specialists and includes sessions such as laughing yoga.

The retreat costs Dhs999 per person and comes with a night’s stay in one of the hotel rooms. And as well as revitalising your mind, you’ll get a load of healthy meals and snacks to replenish your body (now we’re talking).

The experience begins with a welcome ritual featuring colour therapy and detoxifying drinks. There’ll then be a superfood-rich lunch before a load of group-based events to initiate the regeneration process, including a consultation with the naturopathic doctor and group spa activities.

There will then be a sunset yoga session to conclude the day, by which point you will barely recognised the frazzled mess that you were merely hours earlier.

The following morning you’ll be woken to a lemon juice delivery before limbering up for the morning’s activities, which include the aforementioned laughter yoga (which tickles us at the thought).

There will then be a bout of fitness activities followed by a nutrient-packed breakfast, as well as a beach chill out and aqua fitness sessions, with a 'mind detox' to conclude.

The idea is that you go back to city life feeling revitalised and raring to go and we are more than willing to give it a crack of the whip.

We’ll see you at the laughing yoga.

Dhs999 (excluding municipality fee and charges). Available until May 1, 3pm check in. The Retreat Palm Dubai MGallery by Sofitel, Palm Jumeirah (04 524 7777).
