Take the whole gang to this family-friendly Friday Brunch

The Cartoon Brunch relaunches in JLT

Struggling to work out what to do with the kids this weekend? You’re in luck, as there’s a funky new brunch that you’ll want to book into.

The Cartoon Brunch is back at Nosh in JLT after the summer season – and it all kicks off this weekend (Friday September 7).

The Friday fiesta, which is held in the Mövenpick Hotel Jumeirah Lakes Towers, promises an “exciting journey of food stations” that will “entertain both adults and kids alike”.

The brunch is inspired by “fun and bright” cartoons, and boasts a huge buffet of international dishes.

There are tandoori kebabs, poached seafood and a street food section as well as a sashimi and sushi station, Italian corner with tasty pizzas and pastas as well as a chocolate fountain in the desserts (of course).

But it’s no regular buffet, there’s also plenty of activities to keep the little ones entertained. There will be balloon making, face painting, movies, colouring, a photo booth and even a special buffet just for children in the special kids’ corner.

“We’re inviting you to set your inner child free,” said Daniel Kaan, general manager of Mövenpick JLT.

“Our Cartoon Brunch is back with a revamped look and great, fun games and entertainment for children. It is definitely a family favourite that keeps everyone entertained and the children eager to come back.”

Meanwhile, if you’re looking for a Friday date, book the babysitter as Seagrill Bistro is launching a new adults-only brunch later this month.

Get the diary out – it’s time to start planning.
Dhs179 (soft drinks), Dhs289 (house beverages), half price (kids aged six to 12), free (under six). Fri noon-4pm. Mövenpick Hotel Jumeirah Lakes Towers (04 438 0000).
