All-day beach brunch launches on Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah

Need more brunch for your buck these days? Get ready to find exactly that with the launch of Jumeirah Zabeel Saray’s brand-new all-day beach brunch on Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah, which kicks off this Friday (November 9).

Taking place at Plaj, the five-star resort’s open-air beachfront restaurant overlooking the island’s swanky villas, expect an enormous spread catered by the team from the hotel’s Middle Eastern restaurant, Al Nafoorah (whose DIFC sister outlet is a Time Out Dubai award-winner ).

With more than 60 (SIXTY!) different mezze dishes to choose from alone, the day starts upon arrival with a welcome drink from the hotel’s team. Guests also receive a goodie bag of beach essentials, including sun cream, that they’re free to take home with them at the end of the day.

Once you’re happily ensconced at your table for the day, a chef will appear to begin preparing starters before your eyes, and exactly how you like them (well, so goes the promise). And from starters to smoky, savoury grills from the barbecue, it’s all entirely unlimited. Expect to be bursting out of your boardshorts by the time you leave.

Oh, yes, you’ll be needing your boardies – for in truly all-day style, the brunch package includes unlimited access to the hotel’s swimming pool and private beach 2019, all the way through from 10am until 7pm, meaning you might even be able to squeeze in a few sundowners too.

At Dhs595 for the soft drinks package, and Dhs745 for house beverages, it’s not exactly a steal, but looks like a deal worth checking out nonetheless.
Dhs595 (soft drinks), Dhs745 (Lebanese grape, hops and mixed drinks), Dhs945 (bubbly). Fri 10am-7pm (mezze served from 10am, grills from 1pm). Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, Palm Jumeirah, (04 453 0444).
