There’s a Dhs99 vegan brunch in Dubai this weekend

If you’ve attempted Veganuary this year, you can carry on a little longer thanks to a pop-up vegan brunch taking place this Saturday February 2 at The Daily in Rove Healthcare City.

The Oud Metha branch of the funky hotel chain has teamed up with plant-based chef and founder of Flavors by Zendy, Zendy Marsam, and Dubai Vegan Days, the organisation that promotes compassionate living in the emirate, to put on an Asian vegan brunch this weekend – which marks the start of a new monthly vegan brunch offering.

Taking place from 11.30am to 3.30pm, the brilliant value Dhs99 brunch will show off some of the exciting dishes and flavours that can be created using entirely vegan produce.

Speaking of the brunch, Marsam said: “My recipes are 100 percent plant-based, low oil and gluten-free. I am very keen to show people how healthy, mindful eating doesn’t have to be boring or tasteless.

“We have collaborated with Rove Hotel Healthcare City before, and I am delighted to announce a regular monthly collaboration featuring my plant-based dishes. The Vegan Brunch, or Vrunch, will feature different themes and flavours every month”.

For less than Dhs100, diners will be able to enjoy a Rove salad buffet, plus a main course tasting platter from Marsam’s Asian-inspired arsenal, plus a choice of two desserts. Dishes including jackfruit rendang with yellow rice, tempeh litit with tamarind sauce, Thai pomelo salad and tom kha soup.
