With spectacular views over the Dubai Water Canal and the city skyline, Renaissance Downtown Hotel, Dubai offers a brunch experience like no other.

And with the very best of the city's restaurants under its roof, it's the place to head every Friday.Head past the bicycle and through the rustic blue door as you take a journey to the south of France at Bleu Blanc by celebrity chef David Myers.

During the Friday brunch, plate after plate of Chef David Myers’ signature dishes are served at your table including charred tiger prawns, avocado & egg tartine, black Angus brisket and the unforgettable mac & cheese.

The high-end cuisine is served amidst beautiful interiors which are designed to evoke the sense of being in a French farmhouse.

And of course, it's all accompanied by signature drinks designed by internationally acclaimed bar expert Sam Ross.

Just don't forget to take a selfie with the iconic Blue door before you leave – it even has its own hashtag (#BlueDoorDXB).

The Friday brunch runs from 12.30pm to 4pm every week, with three packages starting at Dhs299 for soft drinks, Dhs399 for house beverages and Dhs650 for the premium choice.

If you prefer uninterrupted skyline views, take the lift up to the 23rd floor where you'll find the pumping party atmosphere of Morimoto Dubai – the city's liveliest Japanese brunch.

The afternoon is a celebration of great food and drinks which starts off at the Burj Khalifa terrace, where pre-drinks and eclectic beats are served.

Next, it's time to savour Chef Morimoto’s signature cuisine. While much of the menu is served table-side, chefs at the open kitchen also put on a real show as they prepare the finest of Japanese cuisine.

In addition to a wide range of mixed drinks and house beverages, a dedicated bar serves up Japanese infusions and premium beverages.

The entertainment throughout the afternoon has a distinctive Japanese twist, and it's all complemented by breath-taking views of Burj Khalifa and the Dubai skyline.

But the party doesn't stop there, because at 4pm the brunch moves on to the Morimoto Dubai outdoor terrace – with a live DJ keeping the vibes going until 6pm.

Like Bleu Blanc, Morimoto Dubai runs from 12.30pm to 4pm every Friday, with three packages. Standard is Dhs350, premium is Dhs499 and exclusive is Dhs650.

Whatever you pick, it's going to be a high-end brunch that you're guaranteed to never forget.
