It’s nearly payday, and that means two things. The first thing is excitement at the end of the month, the unlimited possibilities that the next month brings and how you plan on spending your hard-earned cash.

The other is the inevitable cold sweat when you peek, one-eyed, at your bank account the day before the pay cheque lands.

Well, this final pre-payday weekend of the month needn’t be a dull one, because a restaurant in Dubai Marina has announced a one-off half-price brunch this weekend that’s going to give you the meat sweats instead of the cold sweats.

The Blacksmith at the Wyndham Dubai Marina has confirmed that its two weekend brunches will be available for half the price this weekend.

Starting on Thursday July 25, the Hot Turkey Brunch will offer a four-hour package from 7pm until 11pm – full of wings, ribs, steaks and short rib and unlimited drinks for just Dhs175.

But, it gets better, and cheaper, because on Friday the “Alamo Brunch” is laying on two four-hour sessions, one from 1pm and the other from 7pm – and this one will set you back just Dhs110 for unlimited house drinks. You’ll get dishes including burritos, wings, sliders, brisket nachos and a whole bunch of Tex-Mex grub that’ll keep you nice and full. We’ve got more Latin American restaurants to check out here.

There’s also a piñata competition, live music and more, to make this a belt-busting, bargain brunch.
