If being whisked away to Mykonos at OPA Dubai’s first-ever brunch earlier this month has got you craving for more Greek dishes and shenanigans, we’ve got some good news for you.

The popular Greek restaurant, and winner of our Best Fine-Dining Newcomer award at the Time Out Dubai Restaurant Awards 2019 is throwing its second brunch edition, and this time it’s taking its brunchgoers on a Santorini-esqe plate-smashing experience. Opa, indeed.

Taking place on Friday August 16 from noon until 4pm, guests can look forward to Mediterranean dishes, an array of Greek mixed drinks, along with its signature foot-tapping Zorba dancing and live entertainment.

The brunch will include a four-course menu starting with breads and dips including spicy feta dip, hummus, tzatziki and tarama. As for hot appetisers, guests can expect grilled cypriot halloumi, beef carpaccio, Greek salad, and finally fig and walnut salad with tuna tartare.

But don’t smash that plate just yet, as mains include pastitsio (which is like a Greek lasagne), grilled baby chicken, moussaka and steamed sea bass fillet. To round it off, OPA will offer Athenian pie, pistachio cake and Greek yogurt for dessert.

It wouldn’t be a party without some jams. The Santorini brunch will also be blasting island tunes by DJ Jayworx throughout the event.

Also, if you’re dining with a group of eight or more you can opt for a sharing brunch to make sure you can try everything.
