Take on the Rat Pack, Money Heist and a Greek island party this August

Trio of novelty brunches coming to Dubai next month

We all love a brunch in Dubai, but slap on a theme to it and it instantly gets that much more intriguing. Good thing then there are three of them coming this August.

If you’re up for the glitz and glamour of the Rat Pack era, fancy the thrill of a party all about hit Netflix show Money Heist, or want to be whisked away to the Greek island Santorini, next month is looking up for you.

First up is Hillhouse Brasserie’s brand-new ‘Brunch in the Hills’, a Rat Pack themed event with a live carvery station and a garden party bar. Suave.

Kicking off this Friday from 1pm until 4pm for the rest of summer, brunchgoers can look forward to oysters, charcuterie, tuna and avocado ceviche and a selection of signature salads to start off.

As for mains, guests can choose from Hillhouse signatures including duck salad, seasonal mushroom risotto, Mediterranean seabass and a hearty carvery of lamb rump or prime beef ribs.

The bartenders will be (literally) shaking things up by offering summer-themed beverages, from classic English beverages to coffee-flavoured mixed drinks.

Popular Greek restaurant OPA, winner of our Best Fine-Dining Newcomer award at the Time Out Dubai Restaurant Awards 2019, is throwing its second brunch edition, and this time it’s taking its brunchgoers on a Santorini-esqe plate-smashing experience. Opa, indeed.

Taking place on Friday August 16 from noon until 4pm, guests can look forward to Mediterranean dishes, an array of Greek mixed drinks, along with its signature foot-tapping Zorba dancing and live entertainment. Find out more right here.

Finally, for fans of hit Netflix show Money Heist, Warehouse at Le Méridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre will be setting up a special Money Heist brunch next month, and the team will be dressing up in all your favourite characters from the show.

Taking place on Friday August 30 from 1pm until 4pm, the themed event promises to "recreate the excitement and thrills" from the series, bringing Berlin, Tokyo, Oslo, Helsinki and other characters to life. Don’t worry, your dirhams will be safe. Here’s all the details.
