Get brunch and a night’s stay for just Dhs799 for two

It might be September, but that doesn’t mean the deals have stopped rolling in.

There’s a new brunch coming to town this month, and if you’re a fan of cooking shows you’re in for a treat.

MasterChef, the TV Experience is launching a Friday brunch next week (September 13) and it’s an absolute cracker of a deal.

You can get one-night stay at Millennium Place Marina, brunch for two and breakfast for Dhs799 per couple.

The new “Showtime! Brunch” will run at the Dubai Marina restaurant every Friday from 12.30pm to 4.30pm. Food-wise it will include unlimited sharing-style starters, a choice of main and unlimited desserts.

Dishes are all served to the table and include the restaurant’s hero dishes, as well as new specials, created by champions and finalists from the global TV show.

Brunch dishes include baked brie with pecan and maple drizzle, from MasterChef 2016 champion Shaun O’Neal, prawn bhaajis with avocado by MasterChef UK 2016 champion Jane Devonshire, chilaquiles made from corn tortilla, eggs sunny side up, pulled beef, queso fresco, black beans and salsa by MasterChef Australia 2016 champion Elena Duggan, lemongrass and ginger meatball skewers from MasterChef UK 2014 Champion Ping Coombes, and asparagus and gochujang pancakes from MasterChef Australia 2017 finalist Tamara Graffen.

For main course you’ll get a choice of seven options including Diners steak and eggs (hangar steak, eggs, smoked paprika hash browns and chimichurri), the “Extraordinary Burger” (wagyu beef, potato bun, white cheddar, chef’s barbecue sauce, sriracha and wasabi mayo, lettuce, tomato and crispy shallots), fried chicken eggs benedict (fried buttermilk chicken, poached eggs, hollandaise sauce and coriander and tomato dressing), chicken satay with peanut sauce (chicken thighs, South East Asian spice mix, peanuts, sweet soy and coconut milk dipping sauce), sea bream pakoras, (fried sea bream, gram flour batter, spicy tamarind and date sauce, chaat masala seasoned fries) and seared yellowfin tuna with chestnuts and Salsa Verde and charred romaine salad.

Finally, desserts include a live meringue station, ginger key lime pie, salted chocolate tart and more.

If you’re just looking to brunch the packages cost Dhs299 for soft drinks, Dhs429 for house beverages and Dhs489 for premium drinks.

MasterChef was created in the UK in 1990 by Franc Roddam and has since had more than 60 local adaptions broadcast in more than 200 countries. The brand-new restaurant in Dubai Marina will deliver diners the recipes and dishes of contestants and champions from various global shows of the reality TV show.

The restaurant opened in Dubai Marina in April, and we can’t wait to check out this bargain deal.
Dhs299 (soft drinks), Dhs429 (house beverages), Dhs489 (sparkling). Fri 12.30pm-4.30pm. Ongoing. Millennium Place Marina (04 550 8111).
