With dishes inspired by Turkey, Spain and France, there’s already a lot going on at Downtown Dubai’s popular The Galliard. But now it’s bringing a taste from the shores of Sardinia.

The Turkish-Mediterranean restaurant is welcoming its brand-new chef Monserrato Marini from Italy, and he’s whipping up a tasty new menu for foodies to tuck into.

What dishes does Marini bring? For starters, diners can tuck into artichoke and avacado salad, beef carpaccio with truffle, along with mozzarella Milanese.

Make room for mains, as foodies are in for an Italian feast. There’s pizza truffle, pappardelle veal ragu, spaghetti with Canadian lobster, wagyu tantuni and chicken palliard to choose from.

It wouldn’t be a proper feast without ending on a sweet note, and The Galliard delivers. Take on the alla minute ice cream, made up with yogurt and pistachio, along with the must-try Nutella cheesecake.

The new menu is available from Tuesday October 1 onwards. Take your pick of dishes and dig in.

That’s not all, as The Galliard also boasts a party brunch filled with Turkish fusion recipes mixed with French and Spanish tastes.

Taking place every Friday from 12.30pm until 4pm, get ready for some festival vibes, brilliant live DJ tunes and even a few small surprises along the way. Only way to find out is to go.

As for food, expect a hot and cold open buffet, an open Turkish buffet Levrek Marin, roasted wild sea bass with sour sauce and other salad and pastry alternatives.

That’s not all, the brunch also boasts ‘Hünkar s Wagyu Éclair’, along with ‘The Snow White’ made with sugar candy, meringue layers, raspberries, blackberries, and a little of chocolate cream that won’t disturb your mouth.

And if all that wasn't enough, The Galliard is home to some breathtaking views of the city's iconic Burj Khalifa, to accompany your food. In addtion, there's live music courtesy of a violinist and DJ duo for an immersive atmosphere. 

Plus, you'll want to make the most of the food and drink tableside preparation - it's quite the show.
