Big on brunch? Then name Secret Parties will be familiar.
One of Dubai’s best-known brunch promoters, Secret Parties currently runs the Secret Jungle Brunch at Pier 7’s Mama Zonia restaurant, and El Secreto Brunch at InterContinental Dubai Marina’s La Carnita, in addition to the recently launched Secret Brunch at The Ritz-Carlton DIFC’s Café Belge.
And now, they’re back with what looks set to be another belter. In more ways than one.
Launching on Friday July 31, The Secret Palazzo Versace Brunch promises a bold weekend outing – with a twist.
Fancy hearing an opera singer belting out Swedish House Mafia? Probably not a question you’ve been asked to contemplate before, so we’ll give you some time to consider your answer while we explain more.
During the brunch, Dubai opera singer Joseph Terterian will be joined by an electric violinist to play a genre-hopping set of songs from classical opera favourites to chart hits.
And what of the food? The brunch takes place at the hotel’s Vanitas restaurant, and features a four-course menu of dishes such as seafood arancini, roasted beef tenderloin and pan-seared sea bass. Diners will also be able to hit the live station preparing beef carpaccio with black truffle.
As it’s staycation season in the city, there’s also the option to upgrade to a stay in the swanky hotel on the banks of Dubai Creek, for an extra Dhs350 per person. Your staycation package includes a room for the night, access to the pool and breakfast the next morning.
There’s also a brunch after-party package from 4pm to 10pm, where ladies get three drinks for Dhs100, and gents get four drinks for Dhs150.
Still mulling your answer to that question? We didn’t think so.
Dhs345 (soft drinks), Dhs445 (house beverages), Dhs545 (sparkling), Dhs699 (bubbly), room upgrade Dhs350 extra per person. Fri 1pm-4pm. Vanitas, Palazzo Versace, Al Jaddaf, www.secret-parties.com.
