Brunch is back, and there are loads to choose from every weekend (for a full list click here). And every week new ones are popping up across Dubai. Here are three brand-new brunches to try – from all-American afternoons (air guitar included) and a swanky opera party, to a classic pub with a fresh new offering.
The rock ’n’ roll-themed brunch will include all-American grub and live entertainment every week from noon until 6pm, for a three-hour package from Dhs199. Served to the sounds of everything from David Bowie to Aerosmith, dishes at the American-themed Souk Madinat Jumeirah restaurant and bar are brought to the table to share – with diners able to order unlimited rounds of starters such as chicken wings, Texas barbecue nachos, massive mozzarella sticks (swoon) and spinach and artichoke dip. Mains include a barbecue platter, vegan sliders or creole chicken, while there’s a freakshake for dessert. There will also be live entertainment throughout the day an air guitar contest, with the chance to win your next brunch at P&B’s on the house.
Dhs199 (soft drinks), Dhs299 (house beverages). Fri noon-6pm (three-hour package within this time). Perry & Blackwelder’s, Souk Madinat Jumeirah, Umm Suqeim (800 666 353).
This longstanding pub in Gardhoud is launching a brand-new brunch this weekend (July 31). The Irish Village on Tour menu, priced at just Dhs199 per person, includes free-flowing houses beverages, red and white grape, short measures and a whole range of draught hops. Available on both Fridays and Saturdays, for any three hours of your choosing between noon and 5pm, the On Tour menu promises no taste is too far, with a huge variety of dishes from around the world, with the option to order as many small plates as you like. Dishes range from enchiladas to tortellini, butter chicken to green curry, plus of course a bunch of pub grub classics. There will also be live music.

Diners will also be able to hit the live station preparing beef carpaccio with black truffle. There’s also a brunch after-party package from 4pm to 10pm, where ladies get three drinks for Dhs100, and gents get four drinks for Dhs150.
