Habtoor Palace is celebrating Christmas with huge festive celebrations

It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas, and if you’re looking for a place to fully embrace the festive season in all of its merriment, look no further than Habtoor Palace in Al Habtoor City.

From a dazzling winter wonderland set up at beautiful Versailles Gardens, to a spread of festive favourites to dig into on Christmas Eve and on the big day, the five-star luxury hotel is pulling out all the stops to celebrate the holiday season in a spectacular manner.

What to look forward to? Plenty, but guests can start off by heading over to the hotel’s Festive Gardens from Tuesday December 4 all the way to Friday December 21.

The garden will be decked out with dazzling decorations, holiday carols and a slew of fun rides for the little ones – including a “chu chu” train, mini golf, merry-go-round, gingerbread house making and even a dedicated snow fight zone.

Christmas revellers will want to be there 6pm sharp, as the jolly man in the big red suit will be making his way there and heading off to his grotto for all the little ones to come say hello. There will also be a live band playing seasonal classics, food from just Dhs30 and mixed drinks from Dhs25.

There’s nothing that fills us with as much glee as a lit Christmas tree, so gather the whole family as Habtoor Palace lights up the skies with its beautiful tree lighting ceremony on Tuesday 4 December from 6pm. Complete with beautiful snowfalls, carol singing and much more, there’s no better place to be.

Fancy a bite to eat on Christmas Day? You’ll certainly get your fill at the Festive Garden Brunch, serving up a delicious spread of the finest food in a charming al fresco setting. From Dhs495, expect seasonal favourites and signature specialties, along with an oyster and smoked salmon bar, a carving station and an extensive selection of desserts.

From holiday-themed activities to a live band and an exciting kids’ corner, your Christmas Day plans are set.

For those looking for your pre-Christmas stuffing, there will also be two Christmas Eve feasts, with one at World Cut Steakhouse and another at BQ – French Kitchen and Bar.

On Friday December 7 until Monday December 24, the hotel’s popular steakhouse and Time Out Dubai’s two-time winner of Best Steakhouse in Dubai will be whipping up a delicious four-course set menu from Dhs370.

For rich cuisine from BQ – French Kitchen and Bar, diners can tuck in to a Christmas Eve four-course menu with a festive twist on Monday December 24, all for Dhs260.

As for the little ones? BQ will also have a gingerbread house decorating class, where the chef will teach kids how to decorate their dream house made with festive food. Taking place from 2pm until 5pm on Saturday December 15 and December 22, while parents can enjoy the festive afternoon tea.

And if you book any of these fabulously festive activities before Monday December 10, you’ll enjoy a nifty 20 percent discount.
