Leave the cooking to the professionals at Dunes Café this year and enjoy delicious festive brunch and dinner. Tuck into seasonal treats like a traditional roast turkey with all the trimmings, roasted rosemary lamb and more. It isn’t just about the food, as everyone will want to join in on the festive sing-a-long to all your holiday favourites with live entertainment, while the little ones have fun at our activity corner. Whether its brunch or dinner, get ready for plenty of merriment.

Hoi An
Explore the unique flavours of Vietnam this Christmas with a seven-course menu featuring some of Vietnam’s finest dishes is the perfect way to celebrate the season. Delight in rich and authentic dishes such as steamed seabass with sambal sauce, grilled five-spice lamb chops with sweet potato and much more. The night ends with Hoi An’s signature festive dessert – a matcha tea yule log and lychee sorbet. Get ready to eat your way around this festive feed.

This is one you’re definitely want to bring your family along to. Enjoy a taste of China at Shang Palace with an eight-course family-style, festive set menu, where foodies can enjoy a Chinese-style turkey with black pepper sauce, steamed lobster and our signature fried rice with a festive twist. Want something else on the menu? Not to worry, as there will also be an à la carte menu available.

Holiday Afternoon Tea
You can’t have a sophisticated afternoon tea during Christmas without a festive twist. Enter Shangri-La’s Holiday Afternoon Tea, taking place daily throughout December. With everything from Christmas cookies and yule logs to ginger chestnut scones and other tasty bites, tuck in and wash it all down with tea, coffee or even a glass of bubbly.

Turkey Takeaway
Just to make your life at home cooking up a slap-up Christmas dinner a lot easier, why not let the culinary team at Shangri-La Hotel, Dubai make it for you? Get a turkey takeaway and enjoy a delicious and decadent feast delivered straight to your door. Enjoy a traditional roast turkey with all the trimmings that includes foie gras and chestnut bread stuffing and truffle jus, served with seasonal root vegetables, confit baby potatoes, sautéed porcini mushrooms and brussels sprouts with smoked turkey bacon. That’s not all, as there’s also a roasted rosemary lamb leg, served with vegetable tagine, stuffed baby marrow, dill rice, dry fruits and nuts, or a whole goose with a five-spice mix served with seasonal root vegetables, roasted baby potato, red cabbage confit with raisins and caramelized chestnuts up for grabs.

Toy Drive
The hotel may be giving to us, but it’s also time to give back this festive season with its annual Toy Drive, in partnership with Emirates Red Crescent. Throughout the month, a donation box will be placed in the hotel lobby where you can drop off new or gently used toys to be donated to those in need. ‘Tis the season of giving, after all.
