The Irish Village reveals massive Christmas events

Christmas tree lighting kicks off season of festive events on Monday December 4

Christmas

As Christmas comes rolling around, Dubai’s Irish Pub of the Year is getting into the spirit of things.

Having revealed its festive line-up for 2017, The Irish Village in Garhoud is ready to go from Monday December 4, with a huge Christmas tree lighting event. It’ll be a classic start to the most wonderful time of the year, with choirs and carol singing performances, mulled grape and home-baked mince pies, so head along from 7pm until 10pm for a feel-good evening full of traditions.

Then the countdown to Christmas begins. From Wednesday December 13 and for the 12 days until December 25, The Irish Village is offering up a traditional roast dinner with the classic side dishes you’d expect plus a Christmas pud to finish off a three-course festive feast, all for Dhs150. The deal is available from noon until 11pm every day until Monday December 25.

On Christmas Eve expect some big tunes from DJ Marky Mark, before Christmas Day lunch will feature a huge festive buffet with traditional treats, starters, a carvery, turkey, all the trimmings and lots more (plus a visit from Santa). Head along from noon until 4pm, for Dhs199 per person and Dhs99 for kids under 12, including a free present for the little ones.

Reservation is essential for what is sure to be one of the biggest events in the calendar.
