Where to buy a Poppy in Dubai for Remembrance Day 2018

Remembrance Day will be commemorated on Sunday November 11, and a list has been released of where you can get a Poppy in Dubai.

They will be available at school receptions across the city. Many of those mentioned on the list below are happy to let residents come in to collect a Poppy, even if they don't have a child studying at the school, but it's best to call and check first.

Remembrance Day commemorates the lives of military personnel who have died in the line of duty. It is held each year on November 11, the day when the armistice was signed in 1918 ending World War I.

The campaign has been organised by supporters of the Royal British Legion, who are also holding a memorial service on Friday November 9 including a two-minute silence.

More details are available on the group's Facebook page here.
