Charity Rugby Challenge Cup
A total of 12 local teams play in a charity cup to raise money for the medical and repatriation costs of Thailand-based British teacher Adam Pickles, who is currently in a coma after being attacked in the Far-Eastern nation. Food and drinks will be available throughout the competition.

Community drumming

Shop at Voglia and give to charity
Two Dubai residents are taking on the Polar Circle Marathon this year to raise money for the Christina Nobel Children’s Fountain, to educate children in Vietnam. Trendy house and garden shop Voglia is helping the cause by donating all profits from sales on Thursday June 14 and Friday 15. The duo are aiming to raise Dhs183,000, so help them out by doing some shopping.

Give while you shop to ‘Life for a Child’
