Safe & Sound’s Cakes for a Cause
Stroll through the mall and buy cakes and sweet treats from some of Dubai’s best-known bakeries, hotel patisseries and hobby bakers, including Bloomsbury’s, Brownie Point Cakes and Confectioners, House of Cakes, Ramada Hotel Bur Dubai and Al Maha Desert Resort and Spa, with 25 percent of the proceeds going directly towards the Safe & Sound campaign.

Wild Wadi ladies’ night goes pink
Wild Wadi’s ladies’ night is this week dedicated to raising awareness of breast cancer, with funds being raised for Pink Caravan through the sale of magnetic pink ribbons. Guests will also receive a map showing where the Pink Caravan screening facility can be found across the UAE.

Join The Box Appeal
To take part in this annual charity appeal, head to a branch of the Radisson Blu or Park Inn hotel in the UAE to pick up a box. Fill the box with goodies from the list, including a T-shirt, cap, shaving cream, deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, soap, shampoo and talcum powder. The boxes will then be distributed to the region’s needy by The Red Crescent.
