Dubai Center for Special Needs annual open day
Visit the centre to experience a typical day in the life of their students. There will also be a small market in the auditorium selling art and handicrafts, foods and gift hampers.

Support a swim around The World

Beat Diabetes walkathon
Sign up for the free walkathon, which aims to raise awareness by enlisting members of the public to march 3.1km. Last year saw more than 12,000 participate in the Dubai event, so do your bit to take it over that figure this year.

Ikea’s soft toy campaign
From every soft toy bought at Ikea stores in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, the Ikea Foundation will donate Dhs5 to Unicef’s education programme. Drop-off boxes will also be placed at the check-out, where customers can donate any extra soft toys bought to the Red Crescent.
