Dubai Christmas Festival

Buy greetings cards from Al Noor
If you’re planning to send Christmas cards this year, why not support a good cause in the process? Students from Al Noor Training Centre for Children with Special Needs have created a range of cards, with proceeds going directly towards operational costs at the centre. If you want to put a smile on a student’s face this season, the centre also has a wish list on its website, where you can choose items from a number of price brackets.

Ikea’s soft toy campaign
From every soft toy bought at Ikea stores in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, the Ikea Foundation will donate Dhs5 to Unicef’s education programme. Drop-off boxes will also be placed at the check-out, where customers can donate any extra soft toys bought to the Red Crescent.

Celebrate Christmas at Ski Dubai
Meet Santa every day from Friday December 14 until Tuesday 25: kids can share their ‘wish list’ and have pictures taken. In a tribute to the 12 Days of Christmas, there will be different games every day, including snowman-building, holly wreath throwing, a present hunt and a snow angels competition.

The elves’ tea party and lighting ceremony at The Palace
