Child guidance parenting seminar
This free talk conducted by psychologist Dr Saliha Afridi looks at how to parent children through their pre-teen and teenage years. Parents will learn how to navigate hormones, understand their child’s developing brain, and learn how to have a more harmonious relationship with them.

MSF Wall of Life Exhibition
This week-long art exhibition organised by Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) includes more than 60 pieces of art, put together by nearly 2,000 children. Each piece is a group interpretation of humanitarian work by eight-year-old students.

The Raffles Roast – Charity Edition
Celebrate International Children’s Day with a themed version of the British Raffles Roast. All food and beverage profit from this event will be donated to help purchase an electronic wheelchair for Imad, a five-year-old boy born with multiple limb deficiencies. There is a children’s buffet for kids, plus a PlayStation corner, face-painting and a petting zoo.

The Tiffin Club outing

Host a Smiles n Stuff bazaar
The store at Al Noor Training Centre for Children with Special Needs is always looking for new ways to raise funds for the school and is now offering to help companies and individuals host bazaars as part of their corporate social responsibility programmes. They will bring a range of handcrafted items to offices, with all proceeds going directly to the running costs of the facility.
