Make your own magazine at The Magazine Shop
If you’re inspired by creative magazines such as the one you’re reading now, then learn how to create your own with Artist Khalid Mezaina.

Shop at Souk Festive Market
Enjoy a selection of festive food and drinks such as roasted chestnuts and gingerbread at this seasonal souk. Kids will be treated to a visit from Santa and ride on a reindeer rodeo.

Volunteer with The Mission to Seafarers
Lend a hand with distributing gift packages to seafarers across the Emirates. The organisation will be running gifting days until December 24 and then from December 29-31.

Buy gifts and support
Dubai Center for Special Needs Make an ethical choice this festive season and buy gifts from the charity shop at Dubai Center for Special Needs. The shop in Karama is also happy to receive any unwanted gifts, books and clothing. All proceeds go towards helping to maintain the facilities.

Check out Oasis Winter Wonderland
Head to Oasis Centre for seasonal activities and to meet Santa in the Christmas Castle.

Buy greeting cards to support kids with special needs Send cards that care with designs created by the students of Al Noor Training Centre for Children with Special Needs and various artists from the UAE. Cards can be printed and customised to your own requirements. Proceeds from sales support the work of Al Noor.

Library Browse the collection at Dubai’s new multichannel library and immerse yourself in a world of books. It stocks more than 30,000 titles across printed books, e-books and audiobooks at the Sheikh Zayed Road site or that you can download to your smart device.
