Film screenings at A4 Space
Check out the Here comes the Sun film screening series at A4 Space. Throughout Ramadan, the art space is showing films related to sunlight. This week, enjoy El Sol del Membrillo (The Quince Tree Sun).

The Dubai Ramadan Forum
Hear lectures on different aspects of Islam by speakers from all over the world, with live translation from Arabic into English. There will also be free health checks and a kids area. Register online to attend.

Help labourers with meals at Reem Al Bawadi
Customers can provide a meal to a labourer by donating Dhs20 at the end of their iftar buffet. Customers must hand the ‘Give A Little’ card placed on their table to their waiter at the end of the meal and Dhs20 will be added to their final bill. Reem Al Bawadi will then deliver meals daily to labourers in the UAE.

Simple Skills Save Lives workshop
Learn how to respond to an emergency situation at this 40-minute presentation held at The Perfect Help First Aid Training Center in association with RSVP online to attend.

Iftar at SMCCU
Enjoy a cultural iftar at the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding. Break the fast with the team of Emirati volunteers and learn more about the meaning of Ramadan. The event also includes a walking tour of the Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood visit to the Diwan Mosque.

Learn screen printing
Participants must design a pattern to be screen printed on a canvas tote bag. They’ll then be taught the technique by print maker Heather Conyers of Heather Conyers Studio. Call to book your spot in the class.

Nando’s Ramadan campaign with Dubai Cares
When diners order the ‘Altogether Platter’ for Dhs36, Nando’s will donate the entire cost of the meal to Dubai Cares. The charity works to improve children’s access to primary education in developing countries.
