If you’re looking to add a splash of colour and creativity to your home, it’s worth checking out Artezaar, a one-stop shop for artists and art-lovers, which recently launched in the UAE.

The new user-friendly website showcases more than 400 different pieces from over 60 UAE-based artists and was launched with the aim of making art affordable and accessible for all.

The website features everything from paintings, sculptures, digital art, ceramics and decoupage, with the cheapest item on the website being Dhs60 and the most expensive piece coming in at Dhs27,000.

With hundreds of pieces to choose from you’re bound to find a piece to suit your style (and your wallet).

The “passion project” was founded by Leena Kewlani and Teena Thawani, both self-taught artists themselves. Both women decided to quit their jobs to focus on developing Artezaar – a longstanding dream of theirs.

Artezaar aims to support the artist community of the UAE and to bring together the entire “art ecosystem”, where any type of art buyer can see and buy original artworks from flourishing artists, offering artworks to fit budgets, styles and personalities as well as nurturing the young future talents of the UAE by giving them a platform to grow and exhibit their work with pride.

“The talent that is here in the UAE is astounding. Most of these artists do not get a chance to showcase their work and reach the right buyers. Artezaar is all about connecting these emerging artists, making their affordable artworks accessible and easy to buy for everyone,” said co-founder, Leena Kewlani.

“Over the recent years, Dubai has become an important destination for art and culture-lovers, successfully fostering a thriving community of local and regional artists” added Teena Thawani.
