The Connor Brothers to bring ten exclusive artworks to Dubai

UPDATE: This show has been cancelled, keep an eye on for the new date.

Following a successful first solo show in New York last year, The Connor Brothers are making their Dubai debut. They will be hosting an exclusive exhibition in Dubai at The Fridge in Alserkal Avenue from Wednesday March 25 until Saturday April 4.

The British artist-duo will be showcasing ten special artworks from their Pulp Fiction series and it will be the first time the artists, who are best known for their signature style of witty slogans painted over historical pop culture images, will create works that feature the Arabic language.

Two of the pieces have been specially created in Arabic for their Dubai debut and there will also be two pieces in French, while the six remaining pieces will be original framed works in English.

If you’re looking to add to your very own art collection, commissioned pieces will also be available to purchase.

After rising to fame in 2012 under the pseudonym The Connor Brothers, the once-mysterious duo are now known publicly as James Golding and Mike Snelle.

The talented artists take inspiration from popular and historical culture such as Pulp Fiction novels from the 1950s and 1960s and their signature style is emblazing the artwork with thought-provoking slogans such as, "I don’t care what anybody says about me as long as it isn’t true", and "I never let the truth get in the way of a good story".
