Danish Ali and Saad Haroon in Dubai for Valentine’s comedy gig

Valentine’s Day leaving you feeling in need of a good laugh? You’re in luck – Tall Tales Productions is bringing two of Pakistan’s funniest men to Dubai for a night of stand-up and improv on Wednesday February 13.

Taking place at The Junction in Alkserkal Avenue, Once You Go Brown will also feature top local talent including Salman Qureshi, and feature skits on everything from romance and relationships to cricket, karma and Karama.

Speaking of his return to the city, social media phenomenon Danish Ali said: “Super excited to be performing in Dubai again! Have always had a good time on stage here. Saad and I have not performed together in years, so [I’m] looking forward to the reunion.”

Meanwhile, Saad Haroon, finalist for Funniest Man in the World 2017 said: “I am thrilled to be back in Dubai for this show, the audience here is always super smart, diverse and amazingly supportive. Each performance feels like a party and everyone is invited. We have some great comedy planned and it is going to be difficult sticking to my time limit but I’ll be a good boy, Danish and Salman are brilliant and it would be a travesty to miss a second of their set…”

With tickets priced at Dhs150, it’s set to be a great-value night out and top opportunity to see some international talent.

And at least someone will be able to make your other half laugh…
Dhs150. Wed Feb 13, 7.30pm. The Junction, Alserkal Avenue (04 338 8525).
