Get ready for some laughs at Dubai's The Junction

Stand-up improv show coming to Alserkal Avenue

Fan of all the improvisational antics of Whose Line Is It Anyway? Well, The Junction is hosting its own take on it, and it’s looking to be a hilarious night not to be missed.

Alserkal Avenue is getting set for ‘Who Stands In Line Anyway?’, a one-off comedy show that’s completely improvised. What’s more, audiences won’t just be laughing, they’ll be part of the show.

Taking place on Wednesday August 28 from 8pm. the one-night show will feature some of the best improvisers from South Asia, including Ali Gul Pir, Saad Haroon, Amtul Baweja, and the local comedy circle king Salman Qureshi.

The game-master and the host of the evening will be Dubai's very own Asad Raza Khan.

Audiences can expect comedy games, jokes, and a lot of audience participation. This isn’t just a show to sit and laugh at.

The show promises to have crowds in fits with material on relationships, cricket, politics, shawarma and a whole lot more.

“The key to lift the local arts and comedy scene, is to have a mix of international and local in the events”, says Asad Raza Khan, the host of the show and local star.

“We could not have asked for a better mix of talent to entertain the Dubai audiences and showcase what we are doing locally to the world. Get ready to sing, dance, laugh, and be part of the live entertainment as it is a night of improvisational comedy.”

The comedy doesn’t stop there, as The Laughter Factory is back for another month of top nights, and it’s already announced the comedic acts for September.

As for other shows, J. B. Priestley’s “An Inspector Calls” is making its UAE debut this September at Dubai’s independent performance venue, The Junction.

Don’t miss out.
