The world-famous Hard Rock Cafe is opening a second branch in the city – with its new site due to open in Dubai International Airport in November.

The restaurant’s pop-up spot is about to be made permanent, and add to the ever-growing list of global brands that call DXB home.

The new location with feature a licensed restaurant, grab-and-go food counter for travellers in a hurry, music memorabilia and a Rock Shop stacked with its iconic merchandise.

And, perhaps most excitingly, the restaurant will host a string of live acts, which will continue Dubai Airports’ commitment to bringing musical performances to the world’s busiest hub through its musicDXB programme.

Eugene Barry, EVP Commercial, Dubai Airports, told Time Out: “We’re thrilled to add Hard Rock Cafe to our DXB playlist.

“It is the perfect fit at an airport that is already world-renowned for its food, retail and music.

“Hard Rock Cafe sets the standard when it comes to combining great food and music and is a vital component of our strategy to create an airport experience that is second to none.”

Anibal Fernandez Lorden, VP, Franchise Operations and Development of Hard Rock International, added: “Hard Rock has been looking forward to opening its second location in Dubai after many successful years of operating in this iconic city.

“We could not have asked for a better location to provide travellers with great memories of one of the world’s top dining and entertainment brands.”

Hard Rock Cafe is set to open its doors in November and will be located in Concourse B, Terminal 3.

It is just the latest in a long line of new openings – following S34, Nutella Café, Candylicious and The Daily DXB.
Expected November. Concourse B, Terminal.
